Built on Gratitude

Born in the lot. Built for the community. Rooted in the belief that when we share our gifts, everyone rises.

The Founder

Hi, I'm Stacie.

I was barely sixteen and working at Irvine Meadows, when the Grateful Dead culture first found me. Over the next nine years, I saw over 150 shows in California, Arizona and Nevada, especially during my college years.

Everything changed for me in 1995 — my daughter was born in April and a couple months later Jerry died. My focus shifted to being a mom, starting a career that would support us. This is also around the time that I started my spiritual journey, spending years drifting between two worlds that always felt like the same one: jam band culture and the spiritual wellness community.

Fast forward to 2015. After getting shut out of mail order and Ticketbastard, I was determined to get to Fare Thee Well in Chicago. I found a group called RippleDead50 — strangers who became family. We bought suites at Soldier Field, got 700 people in every night, and collectively raised $7,000 for the Chicago Food Bank. That experience — pooling our gifts, showing up for each other, giving back — planted the seed for everything you see here.

A few years ago, I quit drinking — and everything I'd been previously numbing with alcohol started to surface. Anxiety, racing thoughts, years of stuff I hadn't dealt with. I poured into books, podcasts, journaling, meditation, and gratitude practices. The work was starting to work, but I knew I needed more support. When I finally decided to find a therapist, it took two years. Insurance barriers, impossible waitlists, costs, and finding the right fit. Two years just to get help. That experience broke something open in me.

I kept thinking, why is it so effin hard to get help? This is why every purchase on this platform gives back to mental health and wellness. I believe therapy should be as normal as seeing your doctor. I believe this community — the artists, the musicians, the healers, the vendors — we take care of our own. And I believe we can build something that helps us realize, we are not alone.

I've been part of these communities most of my life. I know the artists, the healers, the vendors — both local and in the music and spiritual circles. The rock hounds, the herbalists, the makers. These aren't separate communities — they're the same people, the same energy, showing up in different spaces. I've been dreaming about this platform for years. Now I'm building it — a home for us all.

Our Values

Intention Over Everything

Every product, every service, every interaction on this platform should carry meaning. We don't do filler. We don't do mass-produced. Everything here exists for a reason.

Community Over Competition

On the lot, someone selling shirts will send you to the crystal vendor three blankets down. That's how we operate. Your success is everyone's success.

Giving Back Is Non-Negotiable

A portion of every purchase supports mental health and wellness nonprofits. This isn't a marketing play — it's a core principle. Baked into every transaction, forever.

Gratitude as Practice

The Gratitude Board isn't a gimmick either. We believe gratitude is a daily practice — and that sharing it openly creates real connection in a disconnected world.

Our Commitment

Every Purchase
Gives Back

The creative community — musicians, artists, healers, lot vendors — pours enormous energy into making the world more beautiful. But this community also struggles with mental health, burnout, and the instability of creative life.

A portion of every purchase on For the Grateful goes to mental health and wellness nonprofits. We're building partnerships with organizations that serve the creative community — musicians, artists, healers, and the people who pour their energy into making the world more beautiful.

This isn't a campaign. It's not seasonal. It's structural — built into every transaction, because this community takes care of its own.
